When ducks are working the spread, learn to use shadows and the reflections on the water to watch the birds instead of moving around and watching them. Ducks will notice movement faster than most people realize. Being still and patient will help produce better shots. Also set up with the sun at your back when possible and always remember ducks like to land into the wind.

Well, in re-reading all these post. Bigest tip no one posted or I missed it.

Get out there when ever you can.

I wish I would have discovered this when I was younger and didn't have any responsiblities.

Always pick up your trash, shotgun shells and even pick up others trash. Leave it cleaner than you found it. Seems many people never learned that these days.

This made me laugh.

Remember to tell who ever it is that took you out Thank you. Always ask if you can help, Keep up if your walking in so the other people don't have to stop and wait for you. Have fun even if you don't get any birds

Try not to fall forward...fall on your knees. And don't reach down to catch yourself. This will keep you dryer.
