well, jusy went on their oklahoma website, i think i jusy shot a HIGH dollar racing pigeon, did not know untill i shot him, double banded, sent them an email, i think they are not going to be happy tomorrow.

Guess it won't be racing anymore. Couldn't have been very fast either... 
Wasn't born in Texas, but I got there as fast as I could.

Nothing wrong with shooting pigeons. I havent done it but know several who do. I dont know anything about banded homos, I mean homers, though.

pigeons have a distinctive look compared to dove...best of luck to you, if there is any of you left when they are done with you.
jk....there is a pretty big risk when someone sets them out for a race/run, ESPECIALLY during Texas dove season. you would think they would take that into consideration. accidents happen.

My point is, if you can shoot pigeons, how the heck are you supposed to know you killed someone's pet until after it's down? How could that be "illegal?"
