i think the same goes for rifle hunters also you will always have one uppers, with a bow its "i shot a deer at 65yds" with a rifle hunter its "i shot a deer at 500yds" just take the BS for what its worth some people just make a competition out of everything lol

Maybe im wrong, but I kind of sense this feeling sometimes. Well everybody here knows I'm not opinonated or have an attitude as long as you shoot Hoyt Bows and Weatherby rifles.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

If you really read the threads on this forum you'll see there are bow hunters that are douches, rifle hunter that are douches, duck hunters that are douches, quail hunters that are douches, etc. I've seen it in every section. I haven't seen it any more with bow hunters, and I've actually seen it more with some other groups. I won't name names because that's a debate for another thread. If you really want to see people get bent out of shape over brands, start a Remington vs. Savage vs. anything else thread. I hunt with a bow and a rifle (and a pistol when the opportunity presents itself) and I don't think I'm better that anyone else on here, but I would have to say the few deer I've killed with my bow gave me more satisfaction than most of the ones I've killed with my rifle. That's a personal thing for me. I won't be giving up any of my rifles to go strictly bow hunting, in fact, I have a .270 that hasn't draw blood yet that's just itching to bark.

to me, a bow is another tool in the arsenal to hunt with.
I like bowhunting....actually falling in love with it. thought I was gonna hang up the rifle. but opening weekend, sitting in a tower blind over looking some of the finest real estate in south texas made me realize that i just enjoy hunting, period. be it bow, gun, etc.
I will continue to use my bow, and will continue to use my rifle.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Interesting thought...Don't know if it applies to me or not...LOL..I hope it does not. Other than having to stack up does to make our harvest goals I gave up rifle hunting many years ago. I don't care if someone else rifle hunts or not but it lost its appeal for me a long time ago. Where I hunt in the hill country it is just to easy to kill deer with a rifle. It just got boring. I found it is a lot more fun to have to get close, to have to draw your weapon when the game is close, to hear the deer breathing....Plain and simple bow hunting is just a lot more fun for me.

I agree with this^^^ I shoot a bow, several rifles, a traditional black powder rifle, a revolver I have yet to get a deer with but will soon, and In a couple years I plan to add instinctive recurve to the mix. I just concentrate on one this year, a different one the next and so on, It is alot of fun for me, but I love them all!

Dont tell me how far you shot, Tell me how close you got. But that is just my opinion/mindset. And yes I do still hunt with a rifle and a pistol and hell even a knife. Every option to put food on the table is a good option to me.

I don't have anything against rifle hunters, but there is no doubt that I am much more proud of my bow kills than anything taken with my rifle from back in the day when I did rifle hunt.
So really, it is not an attitude that I project on anyone else, it really is more of an "attitude" towards myself of just being much more satisfied with my bow kills compared to my rifle kills.
Mathews Z7 Bow for Whitetail and Hogs Remington R-15 .223 REM for predators I also like to "hunt" sporting clays with my Benelli SuperSport!

Why does it seem that bowhunters sometimes give off a , im better than you attitude. I see this quite a bit. Just becuase you practice more and Maybe have stuck a few more animals (if any). It is no doubt that bowhunters are some of the worst brand snobs out there. Why is this? It sorta reminds me of a duck hunter or bass fisherman
Maybe im wrong, but I kind of sense this feeling sometimes. It is because I AM better than you
