I have been thinking about applying line-x from top to bottom on my truck. I want it to look good though, I have been searching the net all day for patterns but looking at a small square photo as opposed to what it would look like on a vehicle is quite a difference.

My preference in this post is for HUNTING styles of camo as opposed to military styles. I don't want to do the military style because, as a non-service member, I don't personally believe that I have earned the right to drive something that resemebles military styling.

Also the real detailed hunting camo patterns won't work, you see alot of this with the "viynl wrap patterns". I don't think it would be realistic to have a shop applying a spray coating like Line-X in such a detailed pattern...

So point me to some webpages or post some photos of SIMPLISTIC yet good looking camo patterns for a daily driver / lease vehicle.

Oh and if you have applied Line-X to your entire truck in one color, posting that as well cause my Plan B is one solid color with the rocker panels an off-setting color (Two Tone)

Here is a nice looking one... you will notice he did the mirrors as well , not sure if they were plastic based or metallic.?!?

Looks sharp in my opinion, then if I wanted to I go do a thin strip of that camo wrap just on the lower rocker panel...

What do yall think?

Notice the color sparkles and the mirrors look good.

it was kinda brought up in another section of this forum. http://www.texashuntingforum.com/forum/u...it_#Post1579201 when the kids and painted the vw truggy. we used leaves, weeds and grass from the lease that we hunt at for the patterns.

here are the steps we used but you could use a good flattened clear coat to help protect the surface better.

primed the part

painted the green.

weeds from the lease.

sprayed the black.

then sprayed the brown.

if the color seem to bright then light sand with real fine grit wet sandpaper to dull the finish.

not trying to be a salesman but you should look at superliner. i know i give a lifetime on my product and a 10yr just on the color that it wont fad. alot of liners fad with in the first year or two. check out your liners before you go out and get one. there are forum everywhere that talk about it night and day.

Max4 on top and we did the herculiner on the bottom to deal with the cactus and mesquites. The rear seat lifts up to make a high stand.
