I had a very close friend go there last year. Him and his dad shot 16 hogs, but had a very bad experience with the guide. He said that he would never be going back there.

Jensent, do you know what the bad experience with the guide was? Normally I would not worry to much but since the cost is so hight 800 for two of us i want to make sure im going to enjoy it and get some hogs (a lot of them) up front.

Looks like they put alot of hogs on the ground with some fancy equipment. Sure wish they would give midweek pricing instead of prime weekends. Wish I could do it.

Yea i know i wish there pricing was a little better... if i go alone its gonna be 600 mid week Plus they dont have a cleaning station but they do it if i pay them for 50 bucks each! I could do it my self if there was a station... Look like it would be a blast i just think its going to be really expensive to get some hogs.

I went on a hunt with them recently with my son, Hillyrd and his boy. It was awesome. Their equipment is top notch. I'd be glad to talk with you about them and would offer two thumbs up as far as recommending them goes.

How would you like to be a guide that puts folks on enough pigs for them to shoot SIXTEEN pigs with $80-100k worth of space age equipment and guns and complain about it. He will never go back and I suspect that THC will be able to survive that...

Sixteen hogs....shooting badass guns with badass night vision...seems like a pretty successful hunt to me. I wouldn't be complaining one bit

I have known Jed for years, and have nothing but "GOOD" stuff to say about him. Jed has thousands of acres to hunt, and the "TOP" of the line equipment. FOR YOU to use!!!! If you have the money, go for it! Good luck! and Have fun! J.J.

I have hunted with the guys also. Getting to play with the high dollar toys they have is worth what they charge, the pigs are just a bonus. It is hard to describe, but the experience is like nothing else in the hunting world.

He will never go back and I suspect that THC will be able to survive that... X 2,000,000 You know, if they killed 16 pigs, they must have come across up to 30 or 40 of them and there is nobody here that can say they would not make one or two mistakes with that kind of action. Hell that is what makes hunting so damn much fun is the chase and sometimes the dumb things we can do when we get it on like that. I can only hope the next time I go down to hunt with THC (and I will for sure) that the guys get a chance to make a few mistakes while chasing down herds of pigs so I can blast the crap out of them. I am getting pumped up just thinking about my next visit with those boys. What a waste, to have so much fun and then find something to complain about. Shame Shame.
If your not the lead dog, the view never changes.

He just felt that the guide made a few poor decisions while they were out hunting. Hey guys, I just got through reading this thread and first I want to say thanks, for all of the positive feedback for THC. But I also want to say thank you to jensent for bring up a "negative" take on THC as well. While I'm not 100% sure, which hunters he is speaking of, I think I have an idea. Clark and I strive to provide, our hunters with the most action packed, high octane, once in a lifetime hunt that we can. This includes providing the most advanced equipment available and thousands of acres to hunt. But sometimes it takes negative feedback, to open ones eyes to improvements that can be made, whether that is in the equipment, or in our PEOPLE SKILLS, etc. I would be kidding myself, if I thought there was no room for improvement in our operation. Now to Shanes concerns Yea i know i wish there pricing was a little better... if i go alone its gonna be 600 mid week Plus they dont have a cleaning station but they do it if i pay them for 50 bucks each! I could do it my self if there was a station... Look like it would be a blast i just think its going to be really expensive to get some hogs. Shane, we do not have a cleaning station, but we do have a skinning crew that will gut, skin and quarter your hogs and pack them into your ice chest covering them with the ice you provide, this service is 50 bucks per hog. You have the option to skin your own hogs at no cost to you. But, when you book our services, we promise you at least a six hour hunt with us providing all equipment, ammo, refreshments and hunt transportation. The clock starts when we leave the trucks, if you want to pay us, to watch you skin hogs, I have no problem with that. We are going out each night to kill as many hogs as we can, the skinning crew allows you to keep on wacking and stacking the pork with little to no delays during the hunt. Clark and I thought that was a first class approach. I would love to know more about the bad experience the father and son had, so that problem could be corrected. While I welcome it on a open discussion forum, I believe it should be done by PM, E-mail or even a phone call. Thanks Again, Jed jed@tacticalhogcontrol.com 936 348 4618 Thanks guys for allowing THC to be apart of this forum.
