Got an invite this weekend. Our choices are bay fishing, dove or Nilgai hunts. Bay fishing is a must for me but I'm not sure about going dove or Nilgai hunting. WWYD

no brainer. Nilgai hunt. Bayfish anytime and lots of opportunities for dove hunt if that's what you want. But Nilgai! only those few counties around the King Ranch.

To heck with the fishing! I can do that to many different places and too many different times of the year. I would choose nilgai in a heartbeat. Bull or cow..it wouldn't make a difference. That's a heck of a lot of good meat and a great hunt!

Got an invite huh, sounds like alot of fun. Do you have any idea what lodge/lease your staying at? With fishing included I'm sure ya'll are staying somewhere on Norias. Be sure to post some pictures....

Hands down, Nilgai.Just bring enough gun (don't flame me for that comment, I use a 300 mag), they are large animals and very tasty.
