Wanted to make a comment on the issue of being denied a permit to the Corps land at Whitney. I did my homework and read the rules and regulations for obtaining a permit to hunt and had no problem at all with having to submit a survey after each season or by the deadline. These rules were clearly stated on the website as well as in the literature given to us at the time of obtaining the permit. For the Corps to be able to adequately manage this resource they need as much information as possible from as many hunters as possible. In my opinion the people/persons not submitting this information are not doing their part in this process and therefore are ignorant as to the importance of game management. This opportunity exists because of those that came before us and if we cannot appreciate and respect that then this resource WILL be depleted. Careful where you are clicking!!

I feel your pain, I had a feeder and a ladder stand stolen at the same time. Walked out to my "secret spot" one morning only to discover some jack hole had stolen the whole setup. Makes me mad to this day.
