Just bot. a Winchester 1885 in 22 hornet. Can't wait to see a coyote-pig-bobcat-or coon. The coons on our feeders will be first in line.

22-250 with a 45gr remington umc drops em where they stand and does not make a mess on the exit.

Any weapon that you can deploy to havest an animal w/out causing undue suffering is sufficient enough.

If your a bad shot you need the umphhh of a bigger caliber to ensure poor shot placement still has a chance at dispatching the animal.

If you can sneak w/in 20 yards of one w/ a .22 and put it in its ear everytime then that is perfect.

Your a master carpenter not because of the tools you use, but the knowledge in which you use them. Right tool for the right job and the results will speak for themselves.......
