Never shot a Mosquito but my P22 is a great pistol. Long as I shoot high velocity stuff it has never malfunctioned. It does not like low velocity ammo. I would recommend the P22 to anyone wanting a really nice 22RF.

I have both. Love Both. I carry the Sig and the wife carries the Walther when we go Varmint Hunting. Only problem with the Sig I have ever had was IF YOU DON'T PUT THE MAG ALL THE WAY IN IT WON'T FIRE bang bang bang Almost got ate by a coon one night because of that bolt

I think I carry the Sig cause I have big hands and if fits better but other than that I really would say either is great just go find a good deal and go for it. up

Ive shot a couple hundred rounds through both and prefer the walther, they both are kind of finnicky with ammo, but the walther likes the copper jacketed walmart 550 packs which is a plus. We would plink for hours and could hit chicken shaped steel targets at 50+ yards. IMO go for the walther.

big deference in price the s&w 41 cost more than what i can justify paying for a 22.

I have both and they are both great guns. If I had to part with one it would be the Sig and only because of the trigger pull.

Ok Guys I am buying the sig sauer mosquito with threated barrel. In two more weeks the wife and I will be going to the deer lease in Arkansas. The Sig is hers and she will be shooting it then. I will follow up on the gun and her shooting. With any luck I will have a gun toting momma on my hands. Then it will be a 20Ga shotgun. Oh she fishes and goes hunting with me, now.

Dee

I shoot a Walther with a supressor and it is Bad Azzzz. I shoot the cheap bulk ammo and it eats it like candy. I bought the wife a cute pink Sig and it will only cycle with top shelf ammo.

I have the P22 now granted it's no Browning Buckmark but it's been pretty reliable and moderately accurate. They are cheaply made but fun to shoot.
