Thinking bout turning my Black Benelli Nova into a Camo Benelli Nova. Can't afford the dip, so gonna have to go with the wrap/Tape.
Have you guys done any of your guns? If so, which brand would you recommend? Wouldn't mind it being permanent as long as it looked good.
And..any pointer/tips for applying it would be great! Thanks!

I have used tape and mcnett camo form wrap and i do not like any of it. It leaves sticky residue on the gun and when its humid it is sticky to the touch

I sprayed my Benelli Nova. Just use the Krylon, like mentioned above. Clean it real good, then have at it. I don't have any pics, sorry.
Mmmm Hmmm

I tried the cloth tape on a pellet gun, maybe I left it on too long but it was a sticky mess. Rattle can it. Theres some "removable" bow paint I have seen around if you want it to come off later

Spaz i used a sponge on it. Also on the mcnett stuff i sed it before and left it on a gun for about 8 or 9 months and when i took it of there was residue all over the gun. Thats when i finally got brave enough to paint it. Here is a link to painting it with the sponge Camo sponge painting

A product called "Camoclad" was highly recommended. Anybody ever use it on a shotgun?

I have thought about camoclad before but never tried it. I think it might be tough on the benelli because of all the ridges on it but I have not done it so I could be wrong. On a smooth stock it should be easier

Hey dime box thanks it's not hard just take some alcohol and rub it down and you ready. The first one was with a sponge and second and third I just used grass held over the stock to break it up and the last one I took masking tape and wax paper stuck the tape on the wax paper then drew out the shapes and cut them out to make stencils. That's ones a pain in the a**. First you got to paint it one color let dry apply some stencils. Next repeat that w/ a different color until you get to what you want your base coat. Then just pull the stencils of

I'm also a fan of painting. Take a look at Cerakote. They have bake on and air dry finishes. I've only used the bake on but absolutely love it for durability and its a lot easier to work with than I thought it would be. I've also heard good things about dura coat. There are even websites that sell stencil kits for camoing a rifle so the possibilities are endless.
