like how you think,same here but went 100 lb mono,use to use the dark braid/oversized braid.until i found out that the mono won't grab as much debris floating down creek channel's or on the river.an it disappear's. to me just look's more natural an you get a better swimming action out of the decoy's.

Thats a good option steve.! I will try that i bet its a bit cheaper too.
