Looks good!!!! Thanks for the invite. Do you plan to grill over the fire box, or over on the smoker side?

On the Smoker side ,
and it's almost ready come on ya'll ! hehe
BBQ Chicken breasts , wild hog ribs , beer brats on the right and Texas Traditions venison & pork sausage on the left all smoked with pecan

Always a day late a a dollar short. I missed dinner again. Lol. Looks realy good. I have just one question. Were is the smoke stake on the grill? I didn't notice one.
If I'm not hunting something I must be dead.

I just joined these forums. So far I like what I see. I got here because I bought the SMOKE CANYON™ SMOKER today from Academy. So doing an internet search, I found home :-) I bought my grill as a return. Some guy brought it back because he couldn't hit 350+ degrees in the smoker while using the firebox. I thought I was a novice, but this guy was way off. Anyway, I christened it with a steak. Oh so much better than the converted piece of crud I had before. I have the brisket ready for tomorrows adventure. Oh by-the way.... $199.00 list. It was used so they had it marked down 15%. The guy wanted to get rid of it so bad, he said he would ask his manager if they would come down more. I said 50% off, and it would walk out the door..... Guess how the storyy ended :-) $100+tax. Not bad for wanting spend $50. Paid double what I wanted too, but got 4 times what I expected.
I look forward to many late night reading sessions here.

Great deal and looks good! Make sure y'all season your smokers so they will last longer and clearn easier. Plus you won't be eating chemicals with your first meal.

There is a fire tray beneath the grates that you can raise and lower for grilling. The wheel essentally pushes a pivot to raise and lower it. Works pretty well. Fred What does the chrome handle steering wheel do?

So Dan how does it cook? I ahve seen these at the store and wondered if they will hold temp very well.
