Tucker Slaughter House in Durant Oklahoma. They've always done me a good job, I've done my own too but it sure is a lot of work and I don't have a grinder so it's nice to get the sausage and hamburger from them.

I live in the panhandle of Texas and there aren't a lot to choose from. I've tried a couple of different ones...it took me 3 months to get the meat back(not even sure it was mine), or they told me it would cost $90, but they forgot all the "extras".

Finally found one dude in Clarendon, TX. His shop is attached to his house, but is awesome. I took my deer there, he hung it immediately. Told me the price, I asked what I would get out of that price and he asked me to give him my cutting order!

Told him, (on a Thursday), that I was leaving town on Sunday. He said he would like to hang it another day, but he would have it frozen solid by 8am Sunday.

The meat is fantastic!!

I forget his name, but his truck is parked outside the grocery store, right by the street.

amazing experience!

Fischers in Muenster is the bomb.. Only down side is the price, and they do not make Specialty sausage until the fist of the year. Kuby's makes it all season long!!

I have to vote for Kuby's in Dallas. Most of my hunting is in TX and MS. No matter where/ what i hunt, i haul all meat back to Kuby's. We are going to hunt some in WI this year and God willing I will be bringing some of that 200+lbs bruiser bucks backstraps down to Kuby's!

Believe it or not, it's actually "Miiller's" in Llano. Two "i's". Agreed, Brian and his staff do a phenomenal job.

OK.... didn't see Po Boy's Outback in Merit Tx on the last 3 or 4 pages (between Greenville and Farmersville). Steve Blankenship owns the place and does a wonderful job. I have been sending hunters there for years along with talking my own animals in. Never a complaint.... class A+ job...Freezer is open 24 hrs.... just leave a note on the animal with a phone number an Steve will call you.

I have used many in East Texas, I believe he is definately the best.

We have used Mike & Ed's Smokehouse just outside of Cross Plains, Tx going on 10 yrs now. Their sausages and jerky is pretty much unbeatable. And they vacuum pack everything so it lasts a long time. It's also very clean which I like.
Their phone number is 254-725-4444, I think.......
