May not have to wear camo but it sure makes me "feel" more like I'm getting into the hunting experience then if I just head out in my brown jacket and jeans. So, yeah I wear it and I went through my Natural Gear phase(so I still have a lot of it). I like ASAT but boy are they proud of there stuff.

I'm going to try the PREDATOR EVOLUTION for my next Gila Forest Hunt! I sure like the way it blends.

I like Brush Country for deer hunting and Mossy Oak Duck Blind for duck hunting. I wish that Brush Country would expand their product offering. I think I already have everything that they sell.

Ever looked at Sticks N Limbs? Came out before ASAT, and is a better pattern imo. I used to use it exclusively when I bowhunted. Now that I pig hunt primarily, my camo is a pair of blue jeans and a worn out Arizona clearance jacket. Sticks N Limbs is owned by a Texan. I've hunted with him before, and he is a heckuva guy. www.sticksnlimbs.com

I wish somebody would make a west texas specific pattern. I like the brush counrty but it seems a little dark for far West TX. I'd like it better if it had more grassy yellow and more red for the rocks. I want something that will blend in here; and here;

It works PERFECT for the Hill Country and West Texas. It's much lighter than brush country and isn't nearly as "busy" looking. I use it everywhere, including the piney woods, and it works awesome!! Here it is:

The hippie couple across the street from me makes tie dye and it works pretty good. I had on one of their shirts when I shot my buck this season. That buck couldn't take his eyes off me.

ASAT would work well for you o2bwest. ASAT has been the same pattern for 25 years, and MO and RT change every 4 months, so you tell us which is the better camo. For $140 I can find you ASAT that comes with the gloves. Get the ASAT, and you'll be glad you did, and if not, get your money back.

I have always wanted to hunt from a Truck in South Texas.. never been able to afford to hunt their.. It is by far my favorite way to hunt. You get to cover lots of ground and see lots of animals. And you don't have to spend money on feed, stand, etc and the scenery is always changing. Like spot and stalk on speed.

almost all camo pattern is great on the eyes at close distance. get 50 yds away and it looks like your wearing a green or brown outfit.
Old school army patterns are probably better than 99% of the stuff out there.

I think it's really just about breaking your pattern up. I kinda like basic, old school woodland camo about as well as anything, besides 70% of my hunting is in a wooden box blind anyway.
