I was the guy with the camera. I have been trying to catch him on camera and just kept missing him. If I get any more footage of the other bucks I have seen, I will post it. Maybe a bigger one will step out and I can get some footage..... before long they will be growing the new ones so maybe velvet footage too

I was in the green truck. I stopped Monday and there were 3 bucks feeding but didn't have my camera in the truck. Tuesday I had the camera and got lucky.

Is the place where this deer was seen behind a high fence? Just curious if he's a "wild" deer or what.

Trophy club is a small city north of Fort Worth and West of Grapevine. Very expensive homes and what used to be a lot of open land. It is being developed pretty fast and Sabre owns most (if not all) of the land these deer are on. The land that these deer are on is behind a fence but it isn't game proof. They could go under or over the cables if they want. Not advised (see post of txhunter24)above.

Trophy Club the new East Texas. Let the road hunting begin. Wouldn't advise poaching next to 400k-2mill dollar homes... not to mention Southlake Cops are literally seconds away.... And I mean Seconds.

so this is no ranch its just open land that is being commercially developed. I I bought a home there I know where I would be bowhunting. that double drop tine buck looks like something from a high fence protein fed area. can anyone verify its low fence? and what did that double drop tine buck that was run over score?

COMPLETELY LOW FENCE BOTH OF THEM. Want to say upper 160's and aged at 3.5 There also was another 12 point with a 20in spread that was run over on the other end of the lake next to Gaylord Texan. there are no pics of that one. and no its not being developed. For the most part it already developed to the max. the live buck is on property owned by Saber. The other buck was roaming but was from COE land thats not huntable. You would have to ggogle map of Lake gapevine to understand. Grapevine is COE, so there are pockets all around it that can't be developed.

Them deer get to graze, feed, and get fat with the Ross Perot jr herd of Buffalo.

I was told the deer hit by the Jetta scored in the mid 180's and had some of his antlers broken off in the wreck. There are alot of big deer all across that area. I just hope they keep moving west. My place isn't 25 miles from there.

Is this the deer that got the Deer Crossing sign up on 114? Right next to the houses in Trophy Club? Soon there will be deer crossing signs in Dallas.
