The tote sled was huge this year, some of the best money I have ever spent.

New to forum just found it, while searching some duck hunting reports from across the state, seems some of you guys are still on some birds, thats great. They are scarce in South Texas. Been hunting all week with in a 80 mile radius of Corpus Christi and only managed to get 5 ducks on five hunts. Not even the trusty old red heads and pintails of the laguna will cooperate.
My thoughts: Need ducks.

FowlDreams' NM prowess is still TBD. We'll be waiting on the pics. I wish I could go.
I can't wait to see pics either. Honestly I hope they shoot the mess out of them. Because I know the feelin' and when I see pics I'll fell like I was there again!

Too much water from flooded rivers is bad.
Mallards have more rice breast than other ducks.
Nothing finer than calling Pintails into the spread.
Improved cylinder choke with Winchester Dryloks works for me.
Opening day seemed like it was a week ago.
It's not so much about the number of birds killed but the company you keep in the blind.
My brother proved that you can kill 3 Greenheads and 1 Ringer with one shot........flying in the air.
I thank God for every day of hunting that He allows me to partake in.
Cannot wait for teal season of 2010 to start.

I have one of those camo hats with the flimsy brim that goes all the way around and a strap from side to side that hangs down in front of your chin. Several times this season and about five times this morning the wind blew my hat off my head. Each time the strap worked as designed and caught around my neck. I never had to pick my hat up off the ground or out of the water. Thank you hat strap inventor.
I got lucky and shot a limit of ducks today, and yesterday in central texas. The season is over, but the Dream lives on...

1. No matter how well you think you are hidden, hide some more. 2. Ducks will never ever do what you plan for them to do, even if you stay awake in bed all night planning the perfect attack. 3. Rubber waders are extremely cold in ice covered water. 4. The safety can freeze in the fire position when hunting in 10 degree weather and your gloves were dripping water on the mechanism. 5. 18 hunts alone, 2 with my dawg and 1 with a forum member. All are fun. 6. This IS very expensive. 7. Farmers will allow access to hunt ducks as where they dont for deer. 8. This forum can be harsh! 9. Hard to decide which is funner, hunting ducks or watching your success of training your own dawg.

1. Duck hunting is addicting 2. I'm addicted 3. I love duck hunting 4. I want a woodie 5. A portable PVC blind wrapped in camo netting and covered in cat tails is an awesome blind 6. Jumping 28 tanks in 1 day makes your legs sore the next day 7. I want a dog
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

Bought Zeke last August and trained him myself. I have an absolute joy doing it and he is working out really well. Never knew a dog could be so ducky. Picked upt to chocolate pus last week and have started working with them. I can guarantee you there will be no shortage of duck/dove dogs around here. Nothing better than sitting on my fat arse and watching the dog do what he loves to do and get that bird!

Random Thoughts:::
1.Duck hunting allows you to sleep the entire afternoon 2. You get to brag about how early you wake up, which some how makes you a tougher man. 3. You always have to use the restroom once those waders are strapped on..."shouldn't have drank all that coffee."

1. Duck hunting is fun.
2. Three inch #2 shot only makes Canadas back peddle at 25 yards.
3. Some kingishers are annoying.
