We or going to be on foot in alot of our places, besides the mudd I think its going to be a good hunt, warmer weather after this blizard the animals should be hungry and on the move.

I sucked. One Coyote down. first kill with my S&W1500 .222 One Coyote..I "let walk" cause I thought I would try and call it closer. That was just stupid. even though was 230-250 yds, should have taken the shot. A Bobcat, came in close...I missed. Drive out to Montague county.... Scope Light Switch/wiring fails, have to squeeze the wires to get an 2 or 3 second light... so that was the end of night hunting..at 1am.. get home set the clock for the morning...get up, think about how much the MUD SUKS... go back to bed.

I didn't get to hunt I was sick as a dog. 1st place was 4 coyotes 2nd place was 1 coyote @ 42 lbs it was big coyote also 3rd place was 1 coyote @ 39 lbs no bobcats killed I think there was close to 20 teams and only 5 teams showed up at weigh in. I guess the mud wore everyone out and they give up and went to bed like TimberToes did. They plan on having another one in late september.
