Good luck finding me.And better luck getting into or out of my house.Over 30.I have never sold a gun that I didnt regret it later.Also 4 dogs(2 over 100 lbs.)

currently 17 long guns and 7 hand guns, this is almost half of what I started 2009 with. Lay offs suck.

this is almost half of what I started 2009 with. Lay offs suck. That is the sadest thing I have heard in a long time. I hope 2010 brings you much better fortune so you can restock. I only got 11 and NEED more.

I've got three rifles, two shotguns, and two pistols. I mainly just use my .308 and .17hmr though

you guys crack me up with the no gun speak. people getting paranoid already? No, the problem is that some of us are identifiable by our user names and locations. Another thread asks to give name, age, and city. Harmless, sure. Now you post on here how many guns you have, and some guys give a full inventory. You think honest people are the only ones reading these forums? Times are tough, and guns can be converted to cash almost as easily as taking a jar of coins to the coinstar deal at the grocery store. I'm not really concerned about BoBo taking my stuff, I'm worried about the guy that just wants to separate me from my possessions while my family is sleeping at night, with no concern for the welfare of my family while he does it. Sure, many crimes are opportunistic type deals, but many of the other ones are also targeted hits, and sometimes we get so comfortable that we make ourselves an easy target. Yeah, we have an alarm, and keep things locked up tight in the safe, but have you timed police response times for calls of an alarm going off when the homeowner is not home during the day? Sometimes you wonder if 3 or 4 guys could dismantle your entire house and haul it off by the time the cops show up. Well said. My usual response when asked this is: "That's kind of a personal question, ain't it?"

I would never answer the how many question, but suffice it to say that there are several choices nearby. One guy at work recently said " you guys with all the guns scare me". We asked him back, "how many do you have"....he said about 25?
Just got my SxS out of layaway this date, so my list grew.

whatchoo guys do with all 'dem shotguns? seems a lot of folks like the scatter guns. i got one 12 ga. don't see that i'll ever buy another shotgun.
