I've been looking at these and think they are awesome. The angle of the sides is what makes them work, so everyone that thinks they would reflect back and cause a glare or reflection that would spook a deer or other animal doesn't appear to understand this. The animal would have to be VERY close and have it's eyes VERY low to the ground to see a reflection or glare from it. Here's another product called the Ghost Blind that some of you might be interested in checking out: http://www.ghostblind.com/

My bud bought one of these and took it to a reputable day lease. He tried to sell it to the others at a 75% loss after hunting out of it for 3 days.

Cost on one site I found was about $1080 plus tax those are are awesome but paying that much for a blind is just insane.

ive seen plenty of deer walk next to a hot pink blind and not take a second look, so please tell me the point of one of these "mirror blinds" at least from a practical stand point. i understand that they are a money trophy and a conversation piece...but how do they help a person hunt?

I bet you haven't seen plenty of deer walk past a hot pink blind that hadn't been there for awhile. I figure if there is any practical application for a mirror blind it would be more along the lines of a pop-up.

bet i have.....deer dont care as much about human activity as people give em credit for. and ya, using it as a pop up style would be the only practical use i see....which i guess is alright for some hunters, but probably not most hunters in texas.

Pretty cool idea, but not worth even close to that money. I agree that deer dont care what color your blind is, so why get some "invisible" blind for 1000 bucks.

And I am pretty sure reflection with no magnification would not start a fire.

Do you really use temporary pink blinds? and ya, using it as a pop up style would be the only practical use i see....which i guess is alright for some hunters, but probably not most hunters in texas. Agreed. However, most of the country doesn't hunt out of fixed blinds over feeders.

I have seen the ghostblind work in action and it worked great. However it was overcast if used on a sunny day I think it wouldn't work due to the glare. I would also reccomend using it brushed in just a little.
