If price is not an issued then buy a box of each brand and weight that you are considering and spend a day at the range. Review your targets. The rifle will pick the one that it likes best. The trigger time will help you get to know your rifle.

Since your at the range with alot of ammo use this time to break in your barrel too. Shoot and clean method.

I do this for every new rifle I get.

I prefer the 165 grain Federal Premium also, but you should try several different brands in your rifle to see which one shoots the best.

Could've saved 3 pages of posts if that was the first response!

To the OP if you're near Houston I got about 9 different boxes of various ammo, from cheap to expensive from my own trials. You're welcome to stop buy and grab a couple of each to save you some money. I've found my money shot and ain't trying anything else.
