315/60/20 Toyo Open Country. So far so good. I'd love to run mud terrains but ATs are already rediculously expensive on 20" rims in load range E.
Had terra grapplers same size, got nearly 60K out of them. Decided to get the toyos because a buddy got them at cost for me.

BF Goodrich AT 315/75R/16...I have noticed a BIG TIME difference since I switched tires...

i honestly would never recommend an all terrain tire if where you hunt gets extremely muddy but if you are where there is a lot of rock then go for it cause at least there is a bottom to the ruts you dig

On the 97 I have Pirelli Scoorpions, great grip in mud
On the 07 I have Pathfinder AT's, decent grip and still smooth on the road

Toyo Open Country M/T - read a lot of truck forums and they were the best combination of an aggressive tire that was fairly quiet on the road.

On the 6X6 Pinz, it's Interco Super Swampers, on the 4X4 Pinz, Interco TrXus MT's, the '02 Ford F-250 diesel, has the Toyos, and the '08 F-250 has the Continental trash that came with it, but they've held up for 48K miles.

I agree, great tire. I have the 295 70/17's on my truck. Got over 30k miles on them and they still look great.

285/65/18 Firestone Destination MT on a buckfifty. Lots of mud on the lease but no better than ATs in lightly sandy soil. I think these would be scary on a beach.
32 X 10.5 X 15 BFG ATs on the Jeep. They absolutely stink in the mud, but work great in sandy soil. Probably going to MTRs next time for a better all around tire on the Jeep.
Thought for the day: Ducks were almost hunted to extinction long before camo was invented.

Goodyear MTR's 33x12.50x15. Excellent tread life. They don't really like wet pavement.

I run BF Goodrich All Terrains on my Z71 and they work great for me as I drive a lot on the highway as well and they are a little quieter than the Mud Terrains. However, I am sure that the Mud Terrains are better for more off roading.

Cooper Discoverer ST's 285/75/17
They're a good middle ground between AT's and MT's. Had BFG AT's for 3 years and while I liked them I think the Coopers are much better.

Muds not the problem here rock's and hill's are. This country eats tires up I'll go through a minimum of 2 sets of tire's a year I've went to 10ply Maxis AT's on my Z. Knock on wood I've yet to have a flat or a leaky tire. The AT 10ply's come in 2 models and next time I'm going back to the less agressive model, It's definitly guieter.

I have a 2WD Silverado and just started running 265/70/17 Yokahama Geolanders AT, they are 60K mile tires with some extra tread, I hunt in rock but sometimes the black dirt and goat poo get slick so they help.

Cooper STT's and I love'em. 305/65/18 Had three sets of BGG MTR's before, but I like these more. Lease was in a river bottom for years and fairly serious tires were a life saver more than once.

BFG KM2 285's on my jeep. Great off road tire, does not grip real well on wet asphalt. BFG AT 295's on my F250. Great highway tire.

we pulled out a practically new Ford Super Duty 4x4 over the weekend with the Case 5140. A guy from a neighboring ranch called and said eh got stuck in the pasture. We expected to find him buried. WRONG. He had the street grade tires that come stock on them, and they were gunned up so bad with the slick stuff out there that he was basically stuck on teh sirface with no discernable holes dug. Not even sunk in to the depth of the sidewalls. Poor guy. Nice truck, but useless offroad with those tires.

On my old f150 Had three different tires
GY wranglers-- useless and worthless for anything Nitto- great traction in mud sand or rock- but only got 30k out of them BF AT KO-had 50k on them when i sold the truck and where still running strong.
On my F250 I have BF AT KO- great in the mud and sand- but are a beoach to keep balanced and are loud.
Next tires I'm going to try the Coopers

37 x 12.50 x 18 Procomp Extreme MT's. This is the first time I've tried them and I can say that the voids in between the lugs on this tire really builds up with slick mud. Add to that any grass or small shrubbery and these tires end up looking like giant marshmallows. The lug on the side is also agressive and fills with mud. Then is slings it all over the truck and anyone else behind it as you drive along. Will be switching over again after these are done.

Buckshot mudders on my 04 chevy...Ive had a lot of different MTs and use them A LOT, buckshots are far and away the best IMO. Ditto. About half the price of the Goodyears and BFG's, and as good or better traction. Can't comment about the highway performance since I leave my 4x4 at the ranch and only drive county roads to the gas station and back.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

Next tires I'm going to try the Coopers I think you will be happy with the Coopers. The Cooper ST-C, cut resistant, are bad arse. I got over 50k out of 2 sets or 2 trucks. Love them. Great trackion in any conditions.

A little more wheelspin and you will find that they clean theirself quiet well. To each his own I guess.

325/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. The new Trail Grapplers look interesting but a full blown mud tire ain't worth it for my needs.

305/55/20 Pro Comp Xtreme A/T. hard to keep balanced, but look good and with a little wheel spin clean out pretty well.

Cooper Discoverer ST's 285/75/17
They're a good middle ground between AT's and MT's. Had BFG AT's for 3 years and while I liked them I think the Coopers are much better. my truck is only 2wd and ths is what I run and they get me through alot. I have only been stuck once last week and I could have gotten out under my own power but it was better to let the kubota pull it out and not tear up my grandmas backyard

My 4x4 has become a city truck. Wife drives it. I have a Tacoma with the locking diff. It is all I need on our lease since it is rocky. I used to do some serious mudding though and ran nylon Buckshot Mudders. Those tires were great and I never got stuck or had a flat but you better have good sound proofing and stereo. If you got into sand they called them grave diggers.

For the price BFG All-Terrains are hard to beat. There aren't many AT tires that have better tread wear. That being said, there are other tires that will perform better in muddy conditions. They are just more expensive or aren't practical for the pavement.
My wife's only thing is it can't stare at her when she is eating or sleeping!

Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's - pretty quiet on the road, but great traction off-road. If dedicated off-road BFG MT's are hard to beat, but as a compromise for on/off road, I like the Revo's. Had many sets of BFG AT's over the years, but a buddy put me on the Revo's and now I'm hooked. Got 65,000 out of the first set on our 4wd Tahoe with very even wear and great wet traction.

Kumho MT 35's doesn't matter much though with my Cummins it sinks like a rock.
