Agreed Benbob, we spent 1000's of years domesticating hogs, making them grow quicker, breeding quicker, breedable earlier, and more desease tolerant... Guess what we got now.

A good atv and short length of chain makes things easier for that you lazy flyers should know . i see that is probly for me and my letting the hogs haul themselves off... now you probly consider shooting them and letting them run off to die unethical? well i consider in your last post using dogs to hunt hogs to be unethical to the hogs and dogs.... so whats the differance... unethical is a perspective.. when in desert storm my commaders didnt say make and ethical shot at the enemy..it was war.. well im fighting a war with hogs....

[quote=RICK O'SHAY]And again, when hogs get to be as much a problem as people SAY they are, They (farmers) will be begging us to come hunt them for FREE! In fact there will be a bounty on them if they get bad enough. I could not have said it better Rick . Hmmm, so if they need help with grasshoppers they will ask people to come out and flail the fields for free? Or we could let the government get involved and have a grasshopper bounty? I only wish it was legal to poison pigs like it is grasshoppers. Then i would walk up and shoot them in the gut for insurance purposes!

KINDA LIKE PETA HAS STARTED DOING ALL OVER OTHER HUNTING FORUMS......HMMMMMMM And there are a lot of comments that could be used by PETA. Don't say it cannot happen, look what we have in the Whitehouse.

I guess that might be like making one squeal might bring another one running. it works, lol, but if folks think gut shooting is cruel and unusual, then I won't get into that method.

Yes sir, I am new to the forum. I'm not here to stir up trouble just standing up for what I bleieve in. The problem with most people is they don't stand up for their beliefs then criticize everyone for whats happening. These forums are for people of like interests to discuss various topics and ideas. I feel I am just participating like everyone else.

There was a study somewhere about making them sterile with chemicals introduced, but it failed.
But way back to the OP... sure, if you are seeing one pig in the middle of the field and you have a clear shot and choose to shoot him in the butt, you are, well, nevermind.
But if I see them, know its a hog, and all I can see is his anus.... well I'll try to clean him and shoot him at the same time...

IMO it does make you unethical. So your cows don't go in the woods where they can come into contact with the disease? nope cows are in grass pastures... any other questions.. and besides i dont hunt hogs.. i just kill them so i guess i could be a unethical killer how that be? Since I live in the country and have plenty of my own cows I do understand that just the grass pasture arent fenced. If it is then they make it to the next one somehow. More than likely by walking through the woods.
