I'm thinking of painting my bass boat camo, what preparation did you have to do before painting? It's a little old, got some flake coming through. As I said, I'm not very patient so I just power washed it, masked it off and painted. You may need more depending on the quality of your boat. sounds about like me. I got this boat for $200, so it ain't exactly the nicest thing in the world! Heck. Powerwash it, remove any loose material, mask off what needs it and get to painting.

Boston Whalers are awesome boats. It looks good to me!
It will look even better parked in the driveway while you're killing Canadas and ducks behind your house!!!!!! I wish! That was mom and dads house in OK. I'm stuck on public here in TX.
