I use a face net. I can still blow a call through it if I have to but it's not hot. if its extremely cold I wear a balaclava.

That is what I used to do, but last year we were driving out of a cove and passed a couple hunters and I could see there faces shining from the sun. I tried a face net, but they get in my way.
Anybody use face paint?

I have a beard during the season but still wear a face mask in early teal to keep mosquitoes out.
Later I wear a stocking cap or black paint on my cheeks.

is the paint hard to get off? I've never used it because my only experience with it was in ROTC in college and the stuff they used was royal pain to get off. Also my skin is very soft and supple so I'm careful about my skin care products...

all you need is baby wipes or Lysol wipes to wash it off.
I use the Lysol wipes because my skin is not soft and supple.

In the old days... we used to take a wine cork and burn it. Then just streak your face with the blackened end. Works perty well and washes off easy enough.
Depending on the temp outside I wear a couple of different face masks. One for cold weather one for warm weather.

I can't shoot for chit with a facemask, plus they are incovenient. So, I use the cheap facepaint in the box - It comes right off with Wet Wipes (the kind that they have on the impulse buy/junk rack at Wal Mart check-out lines).

I have an Under Armor hood I wear when it's cold, or use paint when it's not so cold.

I bought some face paint from Academy and it comes off real easy with wipes. It works good enough for me. I don't like the masks at all they get in the way IMO.

A face mask will cover you up well, and provide warmth. It's much better than painting in my opinion. Ive got a primos mask for moderate weather and a fleece one for cold weather.

I started using paint this season. The first hunt with the paint we took 2 limits in no time. I'm sticking with the lucky make-up as KDUB would call it.
the thing about baiting is, even a rookie hunter could have a 170 bird season if they bait holes

The paint in the little box w/ mirror will come off SUPER easy using shave gel on a wash cloth or something similar!

I wear nothing, just keep my head down x 2, I use to wear a mask but just kinda stopped using them, never tried the paint but have thought about it. Really what I like to do is just have good cover. I like to have a limb/branches/brush in front of my face, and stay tucked behind it, just enough at least to break it up. I think that works the best.
