Has nothing to do with it.. Angie just wants to protect the breed that is becoming more and more hoobled with bad genetic defects.. She will also recommend some good breeders if you ask her.
What anyone buys is their own business, and where you buy is your own business.. but regardless of angie tone you have to atleast respect the fact she cares enough about the animals to make sure they have the best chance to live a very full life and she makes that very clear. Just my 2 cents Couldnt agree more. Angie some folks cant handle the truth.

The truth is again,,,, "people" All breeding stock needs every health clearance available for that breed.... EIC has been found in field/show/and back yard no nothing pedigree's, for labs, chessies and goldens... Also know your breeder... Know them very well... If the consumer does their homework,,, they will have a wonderful dog that is healthy, lives long and meets their expectations.... Angie

Angie, I think most people do know the facts about EIC, HD, ED, etc. And the people who don't shouldn't be made to feel ignorant, but be made informed. It's not just this thread. It almost every single response that you have given on this forum. You appear very knowledgeable and concerning about labs, and that is commendable. The problem is, you use an overly arrogant and aggressive approach to push your agenda. May I suggest you try a little more tact when cramming information down peoples throats, and without redicule. Simply passing or offering helpful information in a kind manner will be much better recieved than you continuously making people feel like idiots every chance you get.

Well you certainly proved my point, not reading you stuff is hard when you seem to enter any thread with folks asking about avalible pups or offering them to the board. No wondering necessary now, your rude, abrasive and strangely proud off it.

It is not always "what" you say, but "how" you say it....
Angie, I am sure you are knowledgeable, but the tone could be better.

Just starting to look around. Don't have a particular time in mind. When I find a pup that I am attracted to I will get it. If that makes any sense at all. Starting to look now so it will be old enough next hunting season to get a taste of what is going on.

Sounds like you know just what you want and I'm sure it will come to you. A simple, good dog is... well, simply a good dog! And that's about as good as it gets! Best wishes and may you and your future buddy make many happy memories together!

Take a look at my website- diamondmlabradors.com.
Right now i have puppies from two of the best hunting bloodlines around!! (Mandigo & Ebon Star Lean Mac) Hate to rain on your parade Chris but Mandigo dogs were show dogs that never saw a hunt. Also Lean Mac was never hunted, just field trialed. Also have your breeding stock checked for eye issues. Mandigo kennels had a problem with it. Angie Come on Angie, you know you don't hate it......you seem to live to rain on parades Thats her thing.
