Yeah killed his first last year. Nice little 7 point. Great starter deer. 120 yards all heart, deer went 10ft and piled up. Proudest day of my life.

not the big boy but spike down! Two amazing shots. First one 70 yards right in the pocket. Deer stood there wobbling facing us kiddo said, "lemme shoot him again!" he's dead in his tracks bit what the hey. Follow up shot square in the throat patch! This kid can shoot!

Hey cody I noticed in the TPW manual Taylor county has a javilina season. You ever see any? I've been all over that place and never seen anything.

I know a guy that killed one north of Coronado's Camp almost in Nolan County. That's the only one I know of anyone even seeing much less killing.
Funny story about that one... He was driving back into town and had it double trash bagged in the back of his brand new Tahoe. Those things smell 10 times worse than a skunk and two hefty sacks ain't near enough in my opinion. He's cruising into town 60 miles an hour and a van pulls out in front of him. He hits them broad side, and amazingly neither driver was injured. The javelina, on the other hand, put the laws of inertia to the test and came flying through the vehicle and exploded when it hit square in the middle of the radio! Talk about repugnant! We went by and looked at it the next day...I just threw up in my mouth a little bit just thinking about it...

Here's one for you. We're in a pop-up blind 95 yards from the feeder. at 9:30 we decide to head out in the process of putting things up an 8pt walks out to the feeder and eats till 10:20 we were making more noise than a bull in a china cabinet and he didn't care...... Makes ya think all that quite time and he comes in when we are making noise

I killed two more does this PM. Wearing jeans, boots, and a gray tshirt and white cap. That's three I've killed this season with no blind or gadgets. Just a 30-06 and my stic knife. Meat went to a hungery family, and I'm outta doe tags!
