So here is a deer you do not see everyday. I've been watching this guy for several years. Knowing it was the same buck really demonstrates how much the antlers can grow each year. I wanted him to breed every doe possible, even though his skin condition may not be inheritable. The last I heard someone across the highway was feeding heavy and he has since stayed over there. The local taxidermist know about him and so do many people in this area. So everyone will know if he was taken legally and from which property. This is in Northern Hays County.

Awesome buck! That is really cool. There is a group of albino/white deer in the adamsville area that we have seen a few times on the way to and from our lease! Really cool to see

very cool progression. For all the folks practicing their aging you can really see the body mature in these pics...

That is awesome. I got a picture of a doe like that. I took it on my cell phone on the side of the road in North Austin. It got blurred up really bad. Something similar to a picture of bigfoot!

I drive through there going to work sometimes and I've seen these. I usually see two does together, but this morning I saw three. Man, them suckers are bright white. It's amazing to me that they have all survived, naturally, and from road hunters. Of course when I tell people about them, they think I'm nuckin' futs. loco_too

I've seen one of these before as well... it was in New Braunfels just West of town off HWY 46. Spooked him up while I was running early one morning and then again while working on a property out there near the original site.... pretty crazy. Great to see the progression of antler growth and body aging.

On the "albino deer" the absence of color doesn't mean they are true albino (even though they are cool looking and I'd like to see the black buck breed one of those... just to see what might happen with the genetics). The only way they are a true albino is if they have a super sensitivity to light and absence of color in the eyes.

Yeah everytime we have seen them there has been 4 or more! They are always in a little herd of just white ones.. Pretty neat though! I will see if my grandad still has the video we got of them one afternoon

There are a couple does and a buck just like that in a friend of mine's neighborhood near Dripping Springs. They see them all the time in their backyard.
