Syracuse in Keller is hit or miss, those guys have so business sometimes it makes me think that they really don't care that much about the meat nor the delivery time. I vote for Joshua in Joshua!

Those are great guys, But my son took a med size pig there this past season and it cost $129 to get it cut with nothing extra. And I noticed his deer fee is now $80 bucks. That's out of my price range. This past season, it was so hot we couldn't hang deer, so we carried them and the rest of our hogs to Ted's just north of Brownwood cause it was semi close to the lease. They did a good job at a fair price. Thats all I ask.

I know it is out of your way, but if anyone is in North or East Texas. We take all of our stuff to PoBoys Wild Game Processing in Merit/Farmersville area. Great sausage and hot links among everything else. 903-776-2303

Sklenarik's Smoked Meats in Miles, TX. Have never got anything that tasted bad back. Cheaper and taste better than Kuby's IMO

Rust is OK....they are only open in deer season. Too bad my lease has tons of hogs and the occasional stray exotic. I think Rust SUCKS most of the year...till deer season.

Jackson Bros in Post TX is another great one. Awesome Jerky
Can't agree with that, I couldn't stand their jerky!
I took 4 or 5 deer in this past season for the first time to them donated 2 and processed the others...it's been so long since I took a deer to a processor I don't know if the price was reasonable or not...the donation fee is a rip off!
Their jalapeņo cheese summer sausage was dissapointing as well...everything else was decent.
The people working there were sort of rude and not helpful at all...had to load two does into their overfilled cooler...if it wasn't for a local bussiness owner that came over to see what I got I wouldn't have gotten them in there.
It's a shame because everyone else I've ever dealt with out there have always been nice.

I took 4 front shoulders 1 hind quarter and 2 boneless necks(my 80 yo grand parents wanted some more sausage) to Kuby's and had it made into Jal/Cheddar summer sausage; I was a suprised when they called me up and said your orders ready Total $178.00!!!! I have used them in the past and they are EXCELLENT but the $3.50 per lbs if for finished product so your paying $3.50per lbs for pork trimmings which make up 50%.
Syracuse in keller is good but their Jal./cheddar isnt as good as kuby's

Worth every penny in my book. Best processor I have used. They actually use YOUR deer. Not the meat head who gut shot a 5 year old deer. I hate places who use all the meat together. I want my clean killed deer.
I have to ask my dad but there is a place in garland that has the best jalapeno summer sausage. Anybody know the name? I forget

I use J.R.'s in Springtown. He is fast, clean, and you get your deer back. The price is great $65 for basic( hamburger, steaks, straps, and loins)
It's better to be judged by 12, than to be carried by 6!!!
