Help guys, i finally got my duck boat, 12ft FB, what is the best paint for FB. has anyone used that roll on bedliner, herculiner? please help with any tips or info on helping me get my boat camoed out. it is grey now. thanks

I believe Mack's or Cabela's sells OD green or "duck boat" brown in the gallons to give you your base coat. Afterward, I would use Krylon Ultra Flat Camo spray paint to do the "camoing" of the boat. Given my boat already had a green base coat, but this is what it looked like after the Krylon camo job: BEFORE: AFTER:

Do not use the "bed liner" material any where except where you might have an issue with slips and falls. That material will add weight faster than you think to a boat. Like posted by H.R. if you have flat bottom boat green on it already just get the Krylon spray and get busy. Good luck.

Deckhand is right. You have a weight limit with a 12' FB. I stay away from the truck bed linear material

is it already painted. if so get the boy to help you, wash with dish soap, get grease and dirt of use sand block just to rough it up then to clean off that use rubbing alcohol let dry and use a dark paint first

esco, if youd bring your azz over youd know if it was painted or not. its aluminum color, no paint.
