no, i know i can hit em from farther than that lol, i just like the challenge of sneakin up on em. if i had a good revolver, id be hunting with apistol. its just to easy for me to sit around and shoot a deer outta a blind. that and i pretty much only shoot free hand, every now and then if its over 130 yards or so, ill lean against a tree. lol

That's nuthin. I hunt in a loin cloth armed with nothing more than my cunning and a sharp stick. I've killed 1,238 deer in this fashion.

The skills I've got cannot be taught my young friend. Only a natural born Ninjapanther Norris such as I can master such techniques.

Anyone can kill a deer wearing nothing but underwear sitting in a blind.

But camo is going to up your chances if bush whacking or sitting in the wide open. Sometimes that 1% extra advantage you need is what it takes to be successful. I rather have the odds on my side than take chances since I don't live where I hunt.

I agree. Camo can be a benefeit but it is not a necessity. I'm in the process of building the first box blind I'll have used in 10 years. The rest of the time I've curled up under a bush rain or shine. Wearing camo more often than not.

I decided on the way out the door to do a little experiment. I hope to back up my findings with trail cam pics as well as cell phone pics and this play by play account. It's 4:27 and I just sat down in my chair.
My chair has been laying in the dirt since last year when I built this brush blind. I'm totally exposed to my left and my right and very sparsely covered by last year's dead cedar onthe front and back. I've just trimmed up a bush 5 yards from the feeder. I peed just under the feeder (trail cam will document this occurence) and I'm sitting 60 yards from it
wearing a red polo shirt buttoned to the third button, a white undershirt, faded blue jeans, and a navy blue cap.
My goal is to do everything wrong and see what happens. I will be dipping snuff and spitting all around me.

I will fart if I feel the need and I'm sure I'll be sneazing up a storm as well. It is now 4:35 and I've just reset the feed time to 4:45. Here goes...

5:05 spike 50 yards walking right to me downwind

Spike walked 25 yards behind me and directly down wind. Cover scent used...degree antiperspirant...get the "sport scent"

Oh...and Grizzly snuff.

6:35 feeder goes off in ten minutes I just put card in camera and got in same haggard brush blind from last night.

I'm wearing a blue gingham pearl snap shirt, jeans, and a visor/spikey hair wig from Halloween. Oh, and I've switched from Grizzly snuff to Levi Garrett for todays hunt.

Got 5 does and same spike from last night in wheat closest 75 yards furthest 300 yards.

Didn't get the game cam pics downloaded but you get the idea as to how my season is going to go...
