We had a jackass park his vehicle 60 yards away when all the other vehicles were parked over 300 yards away. We moved our spread, but we set up in the convenient location because someone in our party ripped his waders right off the bat, so we had to try to stay dry. We were the first ones there. Every other party was extremely nice and respectful but this jackhole. I honestly thought that I might shoot the vehicle from 60 yards away claiming it was an accident hoping to pepper it and maybe take off a little paint. I restrained myself. Most folks I meet in the field are nice, but it only takes one Barney to ruin a bunch of people's hunts. J.J., I like your suggestion about putting a shot across the bow after they are warned about being too close. If I wasn't worried about getting in a gunfight with steel shot, I just might do it one day.

What do ya'll do when a fisherman rolls in at first light? I actually have used the line, you;re in range if a duck flys by. They left.

What do ya'll do when a fisherman rolls in at first light? The one time they did while hunting I waded out and told them it wasn't very safe to fish there. I didn't say it as a threat, but I think they saw it as a concerned person.

I would say 300 +++ yards in open water if it’s thick timber 150 + but it better be thick. If I can talk to the guy it’s way to close and you can talk to someone on open water at 100 to 150 yards maybe a little more.
