Beretta Extrema. It is the best gun I have ever owned. For a pump gun the remington 870 is hard to beat.

870 12 ga Ditto on the auto loader...if I could just find one I could afford that gets good reviews. Too much info, I guess I just need to quit cutting bait and get over to Rays and do a little fishing

I use 2 browning BPS one 12 and one 10 but those are pumps for duck and goose. Old browning humpbacks I use for dove and quail much older than 25yo. And some others that are newer just like the oldies. Not sure the price range you are looking at or what the use is, but a good gun that is well priced for the money seems to be a stoger 2000, comes dipped, 3 chokes, shoots light loads well and heavy. I dont own one but several frineds do and they have held up with lots of abuse so far and never a jam. Last time I saw one it was running less than $500.
The purpose of a warrior is not to reason with the enemy but to kill him.

Lets see how many of yall know what this is. I have been hunting with an Remington Model 11 Auto Loader since I was 16. It was my Great Grandfather's and is damn near 100 yrs old. It is recoil operated and I can't even start to guess how many shells have been fired through it. I know that it went through my Great Grandfather, my uncles, my Dad and I am still using it and will probalby pass it down myself. Since it is recoil operated it will chew through the crappiest ammo with no problem. You can typically find them in good condition for around $300. The only draw back for some people is the thing is heavy and will only shoot 2 3/4" shells. This isn't a problem for me though. Good luck finding the right shotgun for you!!!!

Is that old Wingmaster looking for a new home? Or are you just looking for a companion for it?
Thanks

I shoot a Benelli SBE 12 ga for all birds now. I would get a 20 gauge for dove/quail when I can afford another Benelli. Only drawback is it won't shoot light target loads (7/8 or 1 oz) for skeet but I hunt more than I practice. The auto mechanism is just a spring. No gas or anything to foul so it is so simple to clean if you ever do. I am bad a cleaning so this gun is the best for me. Plus I wanted a left handed model and there are not many out there.

I did not have a grand to fork out for an auto so I read up on the Baikal ( Made in Russia) line of firearms and the MP-153 got real good reviews. So I call local gun shop and order one. Next day I have mine and out the door price was $269.80!! Well I have had this gun for going on 5 seasons and I will stack it up to ANY 3 1/2 auto on the market! Yes even the B guns!! Mine will shot the crap 7/8 oz light dove loads to, try that with your inertia actions, NOT!! Well Remington got wind of the MP-153 and the great reviews and field tested it. Guess what, they knew they could never build a reliable auto so they got the marketing rights to sale them. Same gun as the Baikal MP-153 but now it has Remington stamped on!! Funny and to boot they add extra 100.00 to the price! Still the best value in a 3 1/2 autoloader you will find! One issues with this model.....Get the camo version! The bluing on the barrels sucks ass and mine rusted after a timber hunt. I got it dipped so now I do not have to worry! http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/shotguns/SPR_models/SPR453_autoloader.asp

I have a Beretta Extrema and a Benelli Nova. The Beretta feels much more solid and is very durable -- it's going on it's 3rd season without missing a beat.

Damn-----after watching that I am really convinced it is a turd. Thanks.
They are Russian what do you expect. Ya its not a "fixed" demo but I was still rather impressed. Took my Baikal on a goose hunt in peanut fields and that sand really did a number on most auto's. I say most cause while the Spaghetti guns and the Browning turned to single shots; the old Russian POS still keep on throwing steel. Lets meet at Elm Fork. You bring you high dollar gun, I will bring my POS. Ammo of your choice and the first one to malfunction buys the other a case of beer. Miller Light for you, Natural Light for me. What say you Barney???

I have been shooting a Beretta 390 for about 2 years and LOVE it. It makes me remember how bad I hated my 11-87!

After 15 years shooting a Winchester model 1200, and the next 20 shooting the Winchester Ranger auto-loader, I upgraded to the Beretta AL391 Urika Optima a year ago. It's a very nice gun that I expect to use until I die or the next 30 years or so...whatever comes first.
I bought it at Academy for $880 which was the best deal I could find at the time(on that particular gun). You can find the American made Beretta 3901 at Wallyworld for around $500 which is also a very good deal.
