Left last Saturday stayed at two Rest areas and three state parks. Watched my grandson play two baseball games and had a chance to recharge. Monday back at at it training a new Rep from Virginia. Been a nice week and could seriously do it full time. I don’t believe mu wife could handle it though. We would have to minimize a lot. Have 6 more years until I retire and we will do some trial runs before then.

Here are some random pics I took. In order at least.

Only 1,161 days until I retire….not that I’m counting bolt

Looks like a great time SD! You’re way ahead of me on being ready for retirement! Already having great times!

Ordered one of these last year. Still waiting for it to be delivered so I can start building our getaway vehicle…

Very cool pics.

Did you end up using the generator?

Full-timing is a lot of fun. No regrets. On our third year. Planing to retire sometime between July-27 and Jan-28.

To be determined

Did not use the generator, it was beautiful weather. Only bad thing was the wind coming off Lake Livingston when that front blew through ripped off my domestic AC shroud and it shattered into several pieces when it hit the ground. Wind gusts up to 45 mph coming from the rear of trailer.

That’s sweet, tires look aggressive as well. How high is the standing height? I’d worry a little for you about that. Have a link, looks like a Ford transit conversion?

Great pics and trip, sir. I've been waiting for my shrouds to do the same from dry rot, but still holding so far. I am expecting to purchase replacements at some point, though.

Mine too, 2010 model. So far, mine are still blowing cold. Almost never use the heat pumps.

Ford Transit Trail. Ordered the high roof extended body 350….9’6” (114”) tall without the roof rack. With rack and solar panels should finish around 10’. Comes as a AWD lifted empty cargo van with larger/wider tires. I’ll build out the “camper” inside over the next couple of years.

Transit Trail Specs…

You can buy replacement shrouds for Dometic and Coleman A/C units. Just need to get up there and find the model number on the sticker.

They get 'brittle' over time (exposed to the sun), so they break easily if they come loose or hit a tree limb.
