In the Cross Timbers Region lately should continue building next season's racks and body sizes quite nicely.

Our ponds are at capacity and over flowing now.

In terms of rains for antler production, we need rain in April, May, June---we get decent rain in these 3 months and antlers look GREAT

South Texas is much greener than normal. Went and filled feeders at 3 ranches in Dilley, Cotulla, and Freer today, Was quite surprised that everything isn’t grey.

Good rains in Jan, Feb, and Mar help them recover from the rut and give them a huge boost going into summer.

It’s said we are in a Super El Niño…rare in the climate world; and that we could get a bunch of rain up to May.

Not a lot of run off for the ponds, but they are catching some water. It's a sloppy mess here. Seems we've been getting 1/2" to 3/4" about every week or so. Has been challenging getting my dove fields turned, but they're done, finished Friday.

Yessir, all 3 ponds are full and ground is saturated.

The deer are hitting my winter-plots good,
and I need to get out there and get some spring plots planted
(and some more dang cedar understory cleared/burned!)
