This situation should have been dealt with when I was in college...45 years ago.

Hasn’t always been….but since the day Jimmy Carter waffled on the support of the Shah, things changed.

Whatever is thought of him, he was under our control. When he started getting a little big for his britches, we should have fixed the situation. Khomeini could/should have been asassinated in France, the Shah, like 1953, should have been told the way the cow ate the cabbage.

Maybe everything that is happening still would have been fomented, but I’d lay my chips that it wouldn’t have.

Or….or alternate idea. We don’t instal governments.

Israel will drag us into fighting another of their wars for them. Enough of the middle east. Endless money drain and lives to boot. Let them fight until none are left. They have been at it for thousands of years. A battle I wish all of them would lose.

Jimmy didn't do Rhodesia/Zimbabwe any favors either. Used to be "the bread basket" of southern Africa.

But if we're completely honest, we have to admit that we never should have backed up the Brits when they staged a coup (against Mosaddegh) and prevented the then "pro-American" Iranians from becoming a democracy. I don't know that they'll ever forgive/forget that one and I don't blame them.

Gorgeous women, in a country that longs to be free.

Biden (really Obama) has populated the administration with people who are Pro Iran. We will not go to war with Iran and the administration's main goal is to keep Israel in check.

Persian women are drop dead gorgeous. I took one out that was so perfect that she didn’t look real. Still friends with her 30 years later and she could still stop traffic.
