just aa little fyi...in order to obtain agriculturl exemption, on taxes, you have to own at least 10 or more acres, and i think you have to grow a crop of somekind on it.. talk to someome who really knows about these sort of things, and i think you can get a wilflife exemption also..just ch it out real good with someone that wants to truly help you, and not just someone who only waants your money and doesnt care.....shadowman..

Not sure about minimum acreage. You can have a wildlife exemption but, as I recall, you have to start with an ag or grazing exemption before the change to wildlife. When the wildlife became available, I sold the cows and started caring for the wildlife. Without the exemption, I couldn’t afford to keep the land.

BTW, land prices have gone up a lot in the last 5 years.
