Older custom .222 Magnum built off a .222/.223 788 action.
Gun functions perfectly. Has a new trigger in the 3lb pull range (I can check later if you really want the exact number) and a new magazine. Barrel is full length bedded.
I spent a fair amount of time working up loads for this, and have all of the load data in Excel. Best 3 shot group was .386", average a little under .5". Factory loads around 3/4". It's a shooter. This is the perfect prairie dog gun. I've also taken several large hogs and half a dozen Texas whitetails with it with no issues, so it'd be perfect for a kid or smaller person as well. Selling because I don't need it, and want to use the cash for other projects.
It will come with:
-A decent Weaver 4-16 AO scope with rings
-reloading dies and shell holders -250 pieces of unfired Nosler brass that are prepped (resized, primer pockets, flash holes) -101 pieces once or twice fired brass -2 unopened full boxes of Nosler factory ammo with 50gr VMax (100rds total unopened, plus about 20 from open boxes and 11 handloads) -2 almost full boxes of bullets (52gr Matchkings, 55gr Gameking spitzers) -70 small CCI BR4 primers - 2/3 lb 4895 powder -1/3 lb H335 powder
-basic case -anything else I can find that's specific to this rifle.
In short, everything I have related to this gun goes with it, and I'm NOT willing to break it up. While it's not easy to get factory ammo for this chambering, you'll have everything you need to reload for the next 10 yrs at least.
Send me a DM with your number for pics.
Asking $1000. Or make a reasonable offer and we can discuss.

Will entertain trade offers, especially if they involve reloading components for a 7mm-08 (dies, brass, primers, factory ammo, etc.)

Somebody got some Christmas money. And that someone really wants to go on a prairie dog shooting trip. And this gun is the perfect companion for such a trip. Here's a haiku:
Prairie dog town waits Long range shot! Dust flies. Death flop. .222 Rem Mag
