These old warhorses .22lr's intrigue the old man in me. Who still owns one?

Thoughts?

I have a mint condition 75 Sporter with Peep Sights. The balance and stock just feel right. I think this was/is the pinnacle of a field rifles (rimfire).

Other fun guns are #34 and #514. Put a peep sight on a 22lr and enjoy a quiet afternoon slowly chewing through a box of ammo!!!

I have a 75 sporter also. Great old 22s. Have 2 69As also- not as fancy as a 52 or 75, but still fine shooters from a long ago time.

I have one that I need to get the iron sights on.

I did a preservation on a friend's heirloom 52 this past Winter. It is the dried out top one in the first photo. The rest of the photos are after a good cleaning and a number of months of stock work.
