 Christmas colored CCI .22 ammo???

My FIL gave me a box of some CCI Christmas .22 ammo. The lead is colored red and green. Will this foul up my barrels or should I just shoot it up and get rid of it. Seems it could cause some issues. Any ideas?

It’s fine. I think the coating might have come from ideas to reduce fouling, but did not catch on. So now it’s just holiday colors.

They make a run of it every year. It shoots the same as SV in my guns with no issues.

Dang, didn't know they made it. I bought a plain box to go with the little, bright yellow Savage I'm giving to a granddaughter.  Too late now.

Are you sure it's not Red and Green Tracer ammunition? Piney Mountain Ammunition makes red and Green Tracers. I know they were experimenting with other colors as well. Blue is not one of them but I believe white was.

Too bad, that are super fun to shoot. I have a local range that I shoot them at in wet weather like we're having right now. Ive shot thousands of them. The Piney Mountain Ammunition tracers are made close to Austin. They cost about the same as the CCI Christmas ones too.
