Well I am the last of my lineage so going to offer this for someone to enjoy. The rifle is fully functional and good condition and I shot my last deer with it in 2006. It was manufactured in 1915 and my grandfather traded a horse for it in 1918. S/N is 766925 and is 30 W. C. F. 30/30

I am wondering if that SN starting wth 7 is right?? I have a 1894 great shape ive had it for 55 yres, got it whn my dad passed.... he bought it for 50.00 from a german friend in Mason where he gres up.... but my winchester has 151... SN number... probably hasnt had 6 boxes of ammo down the pipe....BUT, it is not for sale... was wondering about the serial number oon your gun...Im not an xpert, so I can be educated on this or contatc Winchester, or go on line...thanks... just thinking out loud.. Shadowman..
