Bosque County. Bucks are grouped back up and on the feed. Doe's back on the feed with their yearlings. Looks like all the acorns are gone or rotten.

Our second rut here seems to start about the 10th of December every year. Rut is winding down here too. Thanksgiving for us (when I was low fence) is when we start seeing bucks we've never seen before. Seems they get on the move looking for that last hot doe. On the flip side, a lot of our bucks would leave.

Our bucks, (the ones that didn't get shot) start showing back up around the 10th.

I've had the luxury of sitting in the stands here a lot, for 2.5 decades. This has been a very strong pattern over the many years.

Ours are kicking off in Wilson co. Lots of deer started turning up dead on the road over the last week. Watched a decent 8 run 2 does this morning they weren’t having any of it, he ran them off then came back and ate.
