1 doe this morning and 3 yesterday evening from one blind. 2 small 8pt yesterday morning from a different blind. No real signs of chasing yet. Going back to the other blind this afternoon and hunt it through tomorrow. Windy and getting hot today. Next week is forecasted cooler.

Always try to keep the video to the point of the action (~ 1 min). Just a doe, but I have to fill those tags as well.

What a horrible opening weekend. Saw 1 buck for like 10 seconds. Sat in the stand til 11am. Then got back in the stand at 2pm Sat. Hunted Sunday til around 10am and called it quits. Deer on camera are still very nocturnal.

Spend time with the ones you love. Time is not guaranteed.

Slow opening weekend for me too, fella at the south end of the lease shot a decent 9pt but that was about it. All I killed was time and a few Lil Debbie Christmas Tree snacks. Still glad to get out of the city for a while though.

Congrats to all that got it done.

Saw a couple bucks that were too young/small. Buddy was getting ready for a shot on one of 2 doe that showed up when a little buck came in an chased them off. Only saw one shooter, he crashed through the pines below me chasing a doe, but never stopped long enough to get any kind of shot off

Well,it’s Tuesday morning after “opening weekend,” but I don’t want to make another thread. Still at it but the wind has been bad the last couple days. Nothing this morning but a spike. Gotta hang it up in a bit so a pack and get back home. Broke a front tooth yesterday afternoon so I have a dentist appointment at 4pm. Sucks because that tooth originally broke last week and I dumbly opted to fill it instead of getting a crown. So now I’ll be out that $ when they crown it today. And I pulled a back muscle emptying the sh:t tank on the trailer. Always something!
Good luck to those still hunting.

I am hunting in Wichita County and we haven't seen much activity on our cameras. No does being chased and I think rabbits & coons are eating most of the corn. We killed one doe in bow season and I killed a fat doe opening morning. Dropped the 4 quarters off at Kuby's Sunday afternoon and will get 86 pounds of nice sausages in about 2 weeks.

Great job. I rolled up on a black bear using a standard mountain bike. I felt like a mountain lion on that thing. So fun to sneak up on game. Congratulations!

Congrats.
Everything has slowed up on the feeder’s for us as well, 4” rain in Coleman county, not many acorns but lots of greens.
Acorns everywhere else plus greens.

Very nice buck congrats cheers
What a great view, I bet you see a lot of interesting things moving along the river/creek. How many yards to the feeder?

168 to that one. There’s another to the right at 202.
I’ve shot a lot of stuff not at feeders from this stand.

Hunted for 5 hours or so Sat and Sunday mornings then Saturday after noon. Saw a few doe, 3pt, spikes and a 4pt. No shooters this trip . Just before leaving the lease Sunday, I managed to get stuck. Fortunately had two guys come out and they were able to pull me out of the mud Monday morning
Had only one shooter buck on camera s maybe can get him next trip out. But it is still good to be out there.

Saw 3 does yesterday afternoon, 2 this morning so far no chasing so far.
At least it’s more than I saw last weekend, 1.
