I was drawn for the archery deadwater unit in 3 days. Any suggestions on where I should go? I've scouted some and found a few spots that look good but will always to advice from someone who has been there.

I’ll be there as well. I rifle hunted it last year and it’s not an easy hunt.

We hunted the Neches dead water unit It was tough hunt, no bait and archery only youth hunt. Blinds set up on the access roads. We did see deer out of range and late 10am ish. The woods looked really good so i bet there are good deer in there. At the very back it butts up to private property and lot of gun shots may be best to back in a cpl of hundred yards from there.
