Good luck! No rain coming here. I'm hoping early Oct. Believe they are calling for a wet/cold winter

I am taking off this afternoon, hauling tractor to my ranch, then to buy seed, will start plowing tomorrow (Wed.) morning, followed by planting and shallow plowing them back in. There is a chance of rain early next week and this is about the only time I have available due to other commitments.

Good luck. I'm still two weeks out due to commitments with the family. But will have them planted by October 8th.

1.70 inches of rain last night here at the house (plus 20 minutes of marble to golf ball size hail) ... hope some of that same cell passed by 30 miles to the west on my plots.

Received 1/2" of rain last Thursday and no rain since lots of storms around me but nothing hit us. 10 day forecast is no rain and upper 80's I might be screwed. frown

I was planting a small plot Sunday evening and it started sprinkling then 5 mins later the weather hit. Wind blew 30-40 miles an hour pouring rain sideways and I was almost a mile from the barn. Took off in the open cab tractor and finally made it back to the barn. Think that's the wettest I have ever been from a rain storm but got some seed in the ground. roflmao
