After I’d made about 10 of these, my wife asked what I planned to do with them. Plan? What’s that? All the rocks are Coal Creek Serpentine that I picked up where I deer hunt. The handles are all wild persimmon that I cut around camp. The heads are set with rawhide, a little epoxy, and compression. All rock was hand wet sanded to 12,000 grit. The handles are hand skinned and trimmed, seared with a torch, and rubbed with melted beeswax.
