The feeder had run empty but apparently not that long ago. Spot showed up Thursday night but my son spooked him. He came back Saturday night and wasn't as lucky.

Son's 6.5 Grendel Howa mini, 123grain eldm. The next morning I drove my son to Houston for camp, 6 hours later the buzzards had barely started the cleaning, I'm disappointed.

The last few hogs we've shot, buzzards have barely touched.

Any idea why? Usually, if I give them space, they make it a skeleton by days end, no problem.

Usually takes days at my place before anything touches dead hogs. By that time, they're usually quite ripe.

Try topping them with a raccoon "garnish". It's all about the presentation. grin
