Hope the ranchers bail gets reduced, in the mean time hope his neighbors help his wife out on their ranch until he gets out.

But under Arizona law, deadly force is allowed on one's own property if the homeowner believes it 'immediately necessary' to prevent trespassing.

If I was a betting man… I’d bet it does but they wisely abide by the SSS logic.

Safe to bet the majority of those big ranches have a backhoe available.

Exactly the problem today with the puke liberal judges and attorneys out there!!!!
They believe they are higher than the law they are supposed to be enforcing!

"Rancher, 73, is charged with murder on his Arizona land after shooting dead Mexican, 48, who had history of illegal crossings into US and multiple deportations"

He won't be crossing anymore.

question: why do we often get this news from UK?

Nor will he be an expense (and probably not a threat) to we taxpayers. And it only took one brave person with a bullet.

This is pervasive at every level of government and not just the courts and/or law enforcement. Activists seek positions of power and then wield the discretionary authority of those positions to turn public policy to fit their beliefs.

IF the border were secure, things like this wouldn't happen. If the Federal Government were doing its job, things like this wouldn't happen. This happened because the Federal Government has not secured the border. Period. End of discussion.

But seriously, how awesome is it that a US Citizen is being detained by his nation's laws against one who has no regard for them? The legal system works, folks! [insert sarcasm here]

Gotta love how they try to insinuate that he's less of a real rancher just because he publishes fiction about ranching on the border.

Our countries legal system is upside down. Illegals and violent criminals are set free while patriots are being jailed.
