My ex wife learned a valuable lesson on Friday morning. She went outside to head to work and her car was gone. Seems she left her purse on the floorboard and her spare key was in the purse. Took the car for a short ride it seems as they parked it in another neighborhood close by. Thankfully there was no damage to it. Dumped the contents of her purse by a trash can and was found. They did take her debit card and credit card, but she had shut those off and they hadn’t tried to use them. Lesson learned

Do you know how hard it was to bite my tongue and keep my mouth shut?

Glad she wasn’t hurt, but a good thing there wasn’t a house key on there, could have been much worse

I am very glad she wasn't hurt, they found the car, and yes seems to be a lesson learned for her.

It’s a good lesson to get when there’s no major pain involved. She’ll be more aware now.

Glad no real monetary or physical damage was done.

Sounds like it turned out better than it could have been.
I've been thinking about adding a battery cutoff switch to my truck to shut off while it sits at work.

Actually the 'silence' is probably more telling.

My Wife knows I am REALLY pissed/displeased when I say nothing.

But sometimes that's best too. You may be sure your's knows she screwed up.

Considering it’s my EX wife, I figured I better take the high road and shut up. she knows exactly what she did wrong.

Mine would never admit doing anything wrong. Not taking the high road is probably why I am divorced. I really hate thieves. Never thought I would be a victim until we had a couple of thieves hitting unlocked vehicles in my area. They took a small foor jack, a pair of cheap sunglasses, a small air compressor and a $5 bill out of my truck one night. They left the cord for the air compressor and it is worthless without it. They also left several other things of more value then what they took. Truck is now always locked in driveway.
