Let me add...you want a case with wheels (Pelican 1750).

I've had Pelican, Plano and Boyt. Each has served its purpose, but I would use the Pelican if flying with one.

Side note - Pelican Case Vault V700 is made in Mexico! I bought one online and it was not the same quality as others I had purchased. I think it was a cheaper model, and for a reason - just not as stout.
Just make sure you see where each is manufactured, if buying a US made product is important. I sent mine back and got a US made one.

I have a pelican and a cabalas brand as well. Both are built very well and I trust each equal. Only difference and bits not small is the weight of the cabelas case. Noticeably heavier.
I’d go Pelican for that reason only

I use Pelican cases for all my rifle and handgun storage while traveling. I own four in different sizes and have never had a problem with them.

I have an SKB, it is very heavy duty. I did not like the fact of cutting foam for the Pelicans, and didn't want a garage full of foam. And Pelican doesn't make one this big and wide, all of theirs are smaller and more narrow which was a big downside for me. This is the one I went with, it'll hold 4 rifles or 2 rifles and a bow....but it is heavy.
