put a place under contract yesterday........right along Bull Shoals Lake and about 15 minutes maybe to Branson..........the little town has about 200 people and we are at the dead end of the road before the lake. 72 acres and mostly wooded. Should be some good deer. Nice house and separate mother in law guest house and nice metal building.......giddyup

Sounds awesome

Is this gonna interfere with you being a Mod on the THF?

Congratulations, there's nothing like living in the woods and being able to hunt 24/7/365.

More rain up that way too.....

You sell your place in Kingston?

Hope it’s a nice place up there. I’ve got some good friends that moved semi off grid up in south central Missouri last summer. Most of their neighbors are Amish. Good neighbors they say.

No still got it and the ranch here in Oklahoma. Amish huh? I like that. I like the demographics where we are gonna be. pretty much a turnkey place and I really like the idea of water well and lake being right here. Water concerns me.

Im sure Cindy will sell it as fast as I am dead

He said when they pulled up with the moving truck a man with 2 teen boys pulled up in a buggy and helped unload. All his kids are very young. Said that was day 1 and they haven’t changed.

Sounds like you are in the Buck Creek, Protem Missouri area. I love that area. Been going there since the 70"s.

You may feel differently about the Amish after your first deer season.
Best of luck, Missouri folks are great.

Congratulations on the move. That sounds freaking awesome. I bet the seasons actually change up there too instead of it being either hot or hotter.

Sounds very nice. Watch the speed limit up there. MO is known for pretty strict Highway Patrol.

Sounds like a beautiful place for sure

Congrats

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

That area is beautiful. Two musts

1. Got to the Jug N Plug in Shell Knob
2. Go trout fishing out of Lilly's Landing on the White River (Branson). I got a guide for there and Tablerock if you need one.

Have fun. Keep us updated on your plan
